About BNB
BNB is the native asset of BNB Chain and the fee token of the Binance exchange ecosystem. Its defining feature is a deflationary burn programme that has been reducing supply toward a target of 100 million coins. On-chain, BNB Smart Chain runs a proof-of-staked-authority model with a small validator set, which buys speed at the cost of decentralisation.
BNB Chain transactions cost cents, so fees rarely change the maths β the bigger cost is usually slippage on thin BNB Chain liquidity pools.
BNB carries exchange-specific risk on top of market risk: regulatory news about its issuer can move it independently of BTC.

Frequently asked questions
οΌHow many BNB are there?
133.17 million BNB were in circulation as of 31 July 2026, against a maximum of 133.17 million β so 100.0% of everything that will ever exist has already been issued, leaving 0 still to come. At that point issuance is close to finished, so future supply growth is not a meaningful factor in the price.
οΌCan I stake BNB, and what does it pay?
Yes. Delegate BNB to a BNB Chain validator from a compatible wallet, or use the exchange's own earn products. Rewards run at typically low single digits, and the calculator on this page is prefilled with 2% so you can change it to whatever your validator or platform actually quotes. Delegated BNB has an unbonding period of about a week before it becomes transferable again. Staking is native to the protocol here, so you are not relying on a third party's wrapper.
οΌWhich BNB calculator should I use?
There are 6 on this page and they answer different questions. Start from what you are actually asking: what a past purchase would be worth now, what a position is worth today, where a leveraged position gets liquidated, or what regular buying would have produced. Each opens with the live BNB price already filled in, and every calculation runs in your browser β nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
οΌWhere does the BNB price on this page come from?
Live from CoinGecko when you press the price button, with the BNBUSDT pair on Binance as a fallback if that request fails. The request happens in your browser and carries nothing about you; if both fail the calculator keeps working with whatever figure you type in.
