About BitTorrent
BitTorrent is the token attached to the BitTorrent file-sharing brand, acquired by the Tron ecosystem in 2018, and to BitTorrent Chain β an EVM-compatible network with bridges to Tron, Ethereum and BNB Chain. Its supply runs to hundreds of trillions of units, which is why the price is quoted at eight decimal places and why a holding is usually described in millions of tokens rather than in coins. Treat the unit price as an accounting artefact of that supply, not as a sign that the token is cheap.
A flat network or withdrawal fee is a large share of a small BTTC position β at eight decimal places it is easy to pay more in fees than the tokens are worth.
BTTC trades on sentiment around the Tron ecosystem and on exchange listings rather than on usage of the file-sharing network.
