CoinTracker vs CoinLedger
Two US-strong tax tools that both export into consumer filing software. The split is tracking versus filing.

What each one is actually good at
Doubles as a year-round portfolio tracker rather than something you open once in April, and its Coinbase integration is the tightest of any of these.
Worth knowing. The portfolio side pushes you toward a subscription rather than a one-off tax year. Historically the most expensive of the four at high transaction counts.
The smoothest hand-off into US consumer tax software — if your return ends up in TurboTax, this removes the most friction.
Worth knowing. Much less useful outside the US than Koinly, and DeFi coverage is thinner. Pricing is also per tax year.
What do they cost?
Both charge per tax year, and both scale the price with how many transactions you have — which means the cost depends entirely on your own history rather than on a headline number. Check yours against the live pricing:
Before paying for either, it is worth trying our own tax report generator — it is free, covers 12 countries, and runs in your browser. For a straightforward history it may be all you need; for years of DeFi it will show you what you are up against.

Availability changes. Regulators bar platforms, platforms withdraw from markets, and this page was last checked on 2026-08-05 — confirm on the platform’s own terms that it serves your country before you sign up.
And before paying either: the rules for your own country decide most of the answer. Crypto tax in 22 countries covers what the software is actually applying on your behalf.
